They're usually made with technologies that are cold-processed and have poor wearability.
Pro-Tect® Sunscreens stay on in salt and fresh water, drying off with towels, changing clothes, and even exposure to sand, wind, hot, and freezing conditions. Its SPF (Sun Protection Factor) remains the same even after hours of use. Our SPF 15+ actually gets stronger the more you wear it. After an hour or two in the sun and water, it's up to an SPF 23 and climbing. There are no other sunscreens on the market formulated to get better as you wear them.

Other Sunscreen Formulas
We have several other types of sunscreen formulations available. Most require some testing and stability studies to bring them to market. Clients often want to put SPF value on a cosmetic product such as mineral makeup. With some minor tweaking of their formula, we can usually help them bring their product into the OTC drug arena with a minimum of time and cost.
